The White Shed

Guess what we did yesterday! MY ENTIRE FAMILY WORKED ON CLEANING OUT THE OLD RUIN OF A SHED THATS BEEN ON THE VERGE OF COLLAPSING FOR THE PAST ELEVEN YEARS!!!!!!!!!! The roof is partially caved in, there are wasps nest everywhere, and there were TONS of books. Most of them were romance/western novels that we couldn’t keep, falling apart, or infested with mites. But there were some that are in better shape then others, which I got to keep (in the other shed, theres still mites), heres a list-

A Treasury of Mysteries Vol. 1

The Sea-Wolf by Jack London

Cliff’s Notes on Wuthering Heights

Reader’s Digest An Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Sampler

Best Stories of Sherlock Holmes

Don’t Look a Gift Shark in The Mouth by Alfred Hitchcock

Down By the Old Bloodstream by Alfred Hitchcock

The Hardy Boys #49: The Bombay Boomerang

The Hardy Boy #19: The Disappearing Floor (this ones not in great condition, but its not to bad)

The Hardy Boys #25: The Secret Panel

The Case of the Roving Rolls, a Brains Benton Mystery

The Case of the Painted Dragon, another Brains Benton Mystery

Four Perry Mason books

Just So Stories by Rudyard Kipling

This One Will Kill You by Alfred Hitchcock

11 Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazines

Now for the Agatha Christi collection (whoever owned all these books must have really loved mysteries 😉 )

Witness for the Prosecution

The Secret Chimneys

The Mysterious Mr. Quin

Sleeping Murder

An Overdose of Death

What Mrs. McGillicuddy Saw!

Mrs. McGinty’s Dead

Unfinished Portrait

Postern of Fate

And Then There Were None

Black Coffee

Whew, thats a lot of books! If only I could bring them inside 😦 . Does anyone know a sure-fire way to get rid of mites without hurting the book? If you do then please tell me, I will be eternally grateful. 😉
