Proverbs 11:2-4

When pride comes, then comes disgrace,

but with humility comes wisdom.

The integrity of the upright guides them,

but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.

Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath,

but righteousness delivers from death.

I always find Proverbs comforting, and I thought I’d share some of my personal favorites.

  1. Love it! I’m trying to read a Proverb a day and loved this verse from yesterday’s: “Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always be zealous for the fear of the Lord.” Proverbs 23:17
