  1. Hey LordoftheTrekkies,

I was wondering if I could take your concept of getting to know your audience and revise it so that I can use it on my blog? If not, I totally understand.

First of all, I really like your blog, and I think it looks really interesting!

My favourite movie would have to be Withnail & I, as a truly brilliant black comedy. I would say anything by Sacha Baron Cohen, but I need to see Bruno and The Dictator first! I want to say Firefly/Serenity but I’ve only seen the movie and parts of the TV show. Plus 2001 Space Odyssey for scaring the children I was babysitting at the time awake!
Sir Alec Guinness for actor, purely for his role in the Ladykillers.
For a book, it’s any book from Discworld, as I love that series so much! But specifically, it would probably have to be Night Watch. I also love Tuf Voyaging by George R.R. Martin.
Author-wise, I think the radio writer John Finnemore is fantastic, and Pratchett obviously, but i think that Douglas Adams must take the prize.
I once ate some lego, that was pretty good before I choked…
I would have to spend the day with Douglas Adams, I think he would just we great fun, and I think I would like him very much!
When I choose a favourite song, I always choose ones that I think would offend/shock the guests at Joffrey’s coronation. (GoT)
So Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin. It starts a bit like a medieval ballard, but then when the electric guitar comes in…
Or Kurt Cobain’s cover of where did you sleep last night for much the same reasons, but replace the guitar with Cobain screaming!
I think that my favourite Nirvana song is In Bloom though!

  5. I have lots of favorites. You would hope so at 60+ right?! I love lots of songs, but a favorite would be “People” by Barbra Streisand. I also love “I Love Music,” by the O’Jays. They speaks to me. I love to watch series because commercials have gotten old. I recently watched Sherlock Holmes on Netflix. It’s quirky but good. I also like Lost Girl. I would sit a spell with Eleanor Roosevelt. And I would love to have an adult conversation with my beloved (deceased) foster mother, Helen Ruth.

  11. Hi There. My favorite movie is Sleepless in Seattle. It’s a good movie with Tom Hanks in it and even though its kind of old it is still one of the greatest movies I have seen. Its my favorite movie because it is not a movie that most have seen and it reminds me of how some movies used to be without profanity or inappropriate scenes, it is good ad enjoyable for all ages 12-99 years old.
I’m not quite sure who my favorite actor is but I really do enjoy British actors like Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hiddleston and even though he is not a British actor Chris Evans is a good actor. OH my favorite book is Song of the Sparrow by Lisa Ann Sandell. It is a book that is almost written like a poem, but it is FANTASTIC and its about King Arthur times and its my favorite by far!
As for my favorite author….. Rick Riordan writes some good books but I also like Lisa Ann Sandell and her books.
The best thing I have ever eaten was something my friend’s mom made when she was making dinner for our family once. It was Chicken Parmesan with bow-tie noodles and Hawaiian king rolls. It was soo good.
If I could spend one day with anyone I would spend it with my brother who left for the army when I was 2 and got out when I was 13 and now is back but he lives in Florida and had gone through some things and he leaves to Germany next week to go see his girlfriend and to see if they are still going to get married as they had planned and he wont be back till the first week of august and I would really love to spend a day with him before he leaves so me and him could see each other before he leaves.
My favorite song is…. wow that’s hard cause I really like music ummm… I will just put my top 3.
    1. Our July in the Rain by He is We 2. Little do you Know by Alex and Sierra 3. English Rose by Ed Sheeran

  12. Hi there. I am Suze. My favorite movie is “the best exotic marigold hotel” as it is a bunch of older people searching for a better life in another country. I am an older person and would love to do the same. My favorite actor is Dame Maggie Smith. She is an 88 year old actress that has done everything from Shakespearean plays to comedies in movies to tv series…she was the Dowager Countess in Downton Abbey. Favorite book is really really hard. I read around ten books a week and have many favorites. the ones I absolutely can not live without is Pearl S Buck’s trilogy on life in China.
Best food ever? again, that is hard. I think I would have to say it was shawarma…it is fresh roasted lamb meat, cucumbers, tomatoes, hummus all in a pita bread. Amazing stuff I bought from a street vendor in Jerusalem Israel.
If I could spend just one day with someone, either real or fictional, I would choose Thomas Jefferson. I want to know what exactly he meant in some of the Constitutional Articles, and why if he thought slavery was bad, why did he keep slaves and have a black mistress……
My favorite song is “Fool on a hill” by the Beatles.
Nice questions, for an interesting blog.
